Insurance and claims
Phil Long Collision Center works directly with all major auto insurance carriers. You file the claim. We manage the process.

How It Works
Filing a claim after an accident is stressful. Phil Long takes over as much of the process as possible so you are not managing paperwork while dealing with everything else. Here is what to expect from the moment you contact us.
How the insurance claims process works
You file your claim
Contact your insurance company to report the accident. They will give you a claim number. Phil Long needs that claim number to communicate with your insurer directly.
Phil Long coordinates the inspection
Your insurer may send an adjuster or use a photo-based estimate process. Phil Long facilitates either approach.
Phil Long submits the estimate
We prepare a complete repair estimate and submit it to your insurer. If assessments differ, Phil Long handles the negotiation.
Repairs are approved and begin
Once approved, repairs begin. If additional damage is discovered during teardown, we submit a supplement and wait for approval before proceeding.
Your insurer pays Phil Long directly
We bill your insurance company directly. You pay your deductible at vehicle pick-up. That is your only out-of-pocket cost.
Insurance Partners
Phil Long works directly with all major auto insurers, handling adjuster communication, damage documentation, and billing on your behalf. You pay your deductible. We handle the rest.
Not seeing your carrier? Call (719) 667-2900. We work with all major insurers.
Your Rights as a Vehicle Owner in Colorado
Right 1 of 4
You Have the Right to Choose Your Repair Facility.
Colorado Revised Statute 10-4-110.1 prohibits insurers from requiring policyholders to use a specific repair facility. Your insurer can recommend a collision center. They cannot require you to use it. If an insurance representative tells you otherwise, that is not accurate. Phil Long Collision Center works with all major insurers regardless of preferred network status.
