Aluminum does not behave like steel.
It cannot be heated with a torch, welded with the same equipment, or straightened with the same tools. Aluminum work-hardens differently, corrodes when it contacts steel, and requires its own dedicated space to prevent cross-contamination. Ford's aluminum certification requires a physically isolated repair area with its own tooling, filtration systems, and cleaning protocols. That is not a procedural preference; it is a safety and structural requirement.
